Rules for Life

Notes before reading:
These rules are applicable anytime, anywhere.
They are not ordered by priority.
These are not the only rules, more to be added as life goes on

Rule #1: Don't think people will treat you the same, so do as it pleases you without waiting for something in return

Rule #2: Don't put high hopes on people so you don't feel hurt or disappointed if they are not up to your expactations. Your standards will always be higher than the actual.

Rule #3: The person that will care the most about you is yourself, so don't waist time in fighting yourself

Rule #4: Be happy if someone texts you or send you a nice greetings online, it means you are still on his/her contact list

Rule #5: Life is too short to waist for nothing, so just start living it

Rule #6: Family are the only people who will love you no matter what. So take the opportunity of any available time, even if little, and spend it with them

Start to Finish

The starting point and the finish line are always the hardest phases.
One needs a lot of motivation to begin and find the way and rhythm.
As well a lot of effort is required to do that extra mile and perform the best.

Rien / Nothing

Translation
What is more enjoying than stop thinking? to finally cease all those ideas flowing more or less useful, more or less important. Stop thinking! As if we had died while being capable to become alive again. To be the vacuum. Return to the supreme origins. Not to be someone who doesn't think of nothing. To be nothing. This is a noble ambition.

from the book "the Ants" by Bernard Werber

I was reading this book the past few days, and this passage just moved me... maybe cos i have lot of free time to think these days, and sometimes wondering too much about an issue makes it hard, cos u end up asking too many questions, not knowing the answer, not knowing what to do cos obviously thinking too much leads u to several roads and at the end u don't know which one to choose.

when u look back to ur life back till this moment...
time passes so fast but u just remember it as if yesterday...
things may go up and down...
u may learn new things about urself...
u may discover new feelings...
but in reality, u r just growing...
and this is the beauty of life

it is funny that talking for 10 min with a person makes u discover more about the place than living for two months!!!

African proverb

Lorsque tu ne sais pas où tu vas, regarde d'où tu viens.
When u don't know where u r going, look where u r coming from.

African proverb

Quand un arbre tombe, on l'entend;
quand la forêt pousse, pas un bruit.

When a tree falls down, we hear it;
when a forest grows, not a sound.
i received it today in my mail and thought to share it with u.
what do u think? waiting for ur comments.
I think that we always here about the bad things, but the good things, they are done in slience.

Ce qu’on ne peut pas dire, il ne faut surtout pas le taire, mais l’écrire.
[ Jacques Derrida ]

What we can't say, it must not be kept in silence but be written.

We make our own decisions, but the Lord alone determines what happens.
